Al deBoer has been in the electrical trade since 1976. Prior to starting Deltec Power & Control Systems Ltd., he was employed by two larger firms starting as an Apprentice, attending school to become a Journeyman and working his way up to Foreman, Superintendent and Project Manager. He was responsible for overseeing larger industrial and commercial projects.

Al started Deltec Power & Control Systems Ltd. in 1994 as a one man operation, obtained his Masters Certificate in 1995 and since then has guided this company in its growth, expanding into the Calgary market and presently employing approximately 60 office staff and field representatives.

DAVE DEBOER

Dave deBoer started in the electrical trade in 1986, where he began working for an established local contractor as an apprentice and attended school to obtain his Journeyman Certificate. In 1995, Dave joined Deltec Power & Control Systems Ltd. as their Commercial Project Manager / Senior Estimator. In 2000, Dave became a partner.

As his career has progressed, Dave has acquired numerous certifications within the electrical construction industry, including his Interprovincial Red Seal and most recently, Dave procured his Field Safety Representative Certificate in the Province of British Columbia (equivalent to an Alberta Master Electrician).

Dave is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Deltec Power. He is involved in key decisions for major project estimating, corporate forecasting, quality control, and has a substantial roll in the Health and Safety Program. Dave is also responsible for overseeing the coordination of material and labour resource deployment between the Lethbridge and Calgary offices.

GINA DEBOER

PARTNER/ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

Gina has been a partner in Deltec since it’s inception in 1994. She left her long time position as a paralegal to join Deltec in 1998 to oversee and supervise the administrative operations of the organization as well as manage all financial tasks of the company including Accounts Payable, payroll, tax and human resource functions such as employee benefits, corporate insurances and related operations.

EDGAR GARCIA

PARTNER/INDUSTRIAL MANAGER

Edgar has over (20) years’ experience in the electrical industry and over 10 years in the Food Process Industry. He is a Master electrician who has gained experience working on projects throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick. Edgar oversees the Industrial/Food Industry operations from estimating to project managing. Edgar’s well-rounded experience in the commercial and industrial fields provides the knowledge required to successfully complete projects within schedule, budget and safely. Edgar became a partner of Deltec Group in 2018.

JEREMY DEBOER

ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER

As a highly experienced and dedicated electrician, Jeremy has been an integral part of the Deltec Power team since 2003. Starting as an apprentice, he quickly advanced through the ranks, working on a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects, and obtaining his Journeyman Certification along the way.

Jeremy has become a Certified Master Electrician, utilizing his expertise to successfully deliver projects of all sizes and complexities.

In 2018, he transitioned into the role of Estimator and Project Manager, utilizing his broad knowledge and leadership skills to drive projects forward, while keeping a sharp eye on safety and quality.

Chris joined Deltec in 2003 as an apprentice electrician. He secured his Journeyman Certification as he worked his way up through Commercial and Industrial electrical projects until he became a site superintendent. In 2013, he joined the office staff as a Commercial / Industrial Estimator and Project Manager.

Chris joined Deltec in 2012 as an apprentice electrician. He secured his Journeyman Certification as he worked his way up through commercial and industrial projects until he became a project superintendent. Chris has over (10) years’ experience in the electrical industry and his work ethic, well rounded experience and the project planning capabilities provides the skills required to lead a project to a successful completion, while remaining on schedule.

BRANDON SMITH

Brandon joined Deltec power in 2004 as an apprentice electrician.  He completed his apprenticeship with Deltec and achieved his Master Electrician certification in 2012.  For the fist 9 years of his career Brandon worked on many commercial and industrial projects throughout Alberta and British Columbia.  From 2014 to present he has been an estimator and project manager working with clients to bring many successful projects to completion.

National Construction Safety Officer, ACSA Certified Peer Auditor

Jason joined Deltec Power in 2011 as our company Safety Supervisor. He achieved his designation of National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) during his employment with our team. He has sat on both of the local Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) and the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) safety committees in Lethbridge. He has been accredited with multiple safety certifications related to the construction industry.

ROD OLSON

PURCHASING AGENT

Rod started in the electrical trade in 1974 and earned his Journeyman and Red Seal certificates in 1979. In 1988 he also obtained his Electronics Engineering Technician Degree. After 35 years of working as an electrician in the Commercial, Industrial and maintenance fields, Rod joined Deltec in 2009 as their Shop Foreman and Purchasing Agent.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Shauna joined the Deltec Power team in 2011 as our receptionist and has advanced within the company to the position of Assistant to our Administrative Director. She primarily handles such matters as customer billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and banking. With having over 10 years experience in the office environment she provides great support for all our administrative needs.

Bruce joined Deltec in 2001 and worked his way into the Industrial Superintendent position. In 2006 Deltec opened an office in Calgary & proudly appointed Bruce as the manager. Bruce handles the day-to-day operations, oversees the employees, as well as estimating and project management

Devon has over (15) years’ experience in the electrical industry and over 6 years in the Water Treatment/Wastewater Treatment, and Irrigation Projects.  His work ethic, well rounded experience and the project planning capabilities provides the skills required for a successfully complete project within schedule.

In 2023 Matt relocated his family to Yorkton SK and was promoted to Branch Manager of the Yorkton Location. Matt has over (18) years’ experience in the electrical industry and over 10 years in the Waterworks/Controls Industry, his work ethic, well rounded experience and the project planning capabilities provides the skills required for a successfully complete project within schedule.
